Liebherr’s last 2014 launch, the R 926 Compact crawler excavator, offers greater comfort, improved productivity and cost-effectiveness over its earlier offering, the R 924 Compact. Offering an operating weight of about 25 tonnes, the R 926’s diesel engine features an oxidizing catalytic converter for exhaust gas after treatment and returns 120 kW / 163 HP of power, while meeting the emissions standard IIIB.

Perfectly adapted for tight working conditions,  the R 926 Compact combines the high performance and versatility of a standard crawler excavator with its small, compact dimensions.  It is well suited for urban deployment due to its wide scope of equipment and options. This excavator can be configured for all earthmoving, deep foundation and demolition tasks.
The “Red Dot” is an internationally recognised mark of quality. The product design competition was held this year for the 60th time. With about 5,000 entries from approximately 2,000 participants from 56 countries, the Red Dot Award for Product Design is one of the most prestigious product competitions in the world.
