2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Stadiums Kick Off with Conject

WOKING/ENGLAND, August 6, 2013 - Conject pm platform has been selected by the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Sports Engineering” of Russia to assist in the delivery of four major new stadium project for 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.

The company fought off competition from large IT companies such as Microsoft and Oracle, and was chosen for its best value-for-money ratio, easy interface, fast roll-out capabilities and expertise in helping to deliver sporting stadia and associated facilities and infrastructure.
Conject has a track record when it comes to projects in the sports sector.  For instance, the seven year association with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games began back in July 2006 when infrastructure engineers Murphys Group selected Conject software to support the Lower Lea Valleys cable tunnels project. The scheme was one of the first phase projects to take place at the Olympic park site in Stratford, East London. At the same time Locog’s preferred developer Lend Lease began works to deliver the £1.5bn Athletes Village on the Olympic park in London and used our software platform to integrate the project teams with all of the design and construction information.
In addition to London 2012, Conject’s systems have been used for a number of years on a variety of sporting projects across Europe, The Middle-East and Asia. For example, Conject  pm is currently being used to help the delivery of the $1.5bn VTB arena multi-purpose stadium in Moscow which is due for completion in 2016.
The four stadium projects in Russia are located at: Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd and Ekaterinburg.
