The Dynapac MF2500CS mobile feeder features a high performance conveying system that can empty a truck in less than 35 seconds. What’s more, an optional swingable conveyor makes this an unusually flexible and versatile machine. The only 2.55 m wide feeder on the market, the Dynapac MF2500CS is easy and cost-effective to transport, with no special permission needed. The machine is operator friendly, operating costs are low and reliability and serviceability are high.
The core of the Dynapac MF2500CS is its conveying system. With a feeding capacity of 4,000 t/h, it can transport 27?t of gravel, sand or asphalt to its destination in just 35?seconds. The durable conveyor belt is directly mounted on tightly arranged metal bracing. The tension is automatically controlled, making manual adjustments unnecessary and ensuring the lowest wear costs on the market. Operating contact-free, the Dynapac MF2500CS feeder ensures an even material flow for all kinds of asphalt and gravel layers.
The Dynapac MF2500CS meets the new emission standards, featuring a Stage IIIB (Tier4i) Cummins QSB 6.7 C260 engine, which is also prepared for the final Stage IV (170 kW for the MF2500CS). The hydraulic drive system features thermostatic fan control for efficient cooling. Economic hydraulics on the feeder ensures great fuel efficiency.
Equipped as standard with a short conveyor, the MF2500CS mobile feeder can also work with an additional swingable conveyor mounted behind the short belt. It can be attached and removed quickly to be as flexible as necessary on the jobsite. No modification of the standard MF2500CS mobile feeder is required for this beneficial application tool.
The main advantage of attaching the swingable conveyor is that it enables the machine to feed two pavers. However, it can also be used, for example, for bicycle lanes and road shoulders. When not required, the swingable conveyor can quickly be dismounted, which considerably prolongs the lifetime of the belt and minimizes costs.
The MF2500CS mobile feeder has an easy-to-learn and operator friendly dashboard. Operation is fully automated by steering, distance and feeding sensors. The optional steering device automatically guides the feeder. The conveyor belt sensors guarantee stress less feeding of the paver; the speed and distance are controlled. The operator can thus concentrate on the truck emptying process, while the machine stays on course. This ensures highest daily work capacity.
The turning and sliding seat allows the driver to sit at a 90° angle to the driving direction and thus have an excellent view. The view is further enhanced by cameras and mirrors.
The instrument panel can be repositioned anywhere across the platform and be pivoted by up to 90 degrees. This way, the operator has everything under control from any position. Weather protection screens are available as an option; ensuring highest comfort for the operator.
Working together, the MF2500CS mobile feeder partnered with the Dynapac SD2550CS paver makes one of the best highway paving teams on the market. The fact that they both have the same engine and service concept is a huge cost saving factor.
Maintenance costs for the MF2500CS are low, primarily due to the easily attached and dismounted swingable conveyor and the unique belt design. All service related points can be found, clearly arranged, behind a large maintenance flap. These include engine related electrics, central lubrication, hydraulic valves, filters and other main electric components.
Special cost-intensive transport is not needed due to the MF2500CS’s low weight of less than 20 t and the width of 2.55 m.
SHANGHAI/CHINA, 3 Apr 2013 - Atlas Copco Road Construction Equipment has decided to align the visual identity of the Dynapac range of rollers and pavers to the design used by the other divisions in the Atlas Copco Construction Technique business area. The new identity will be launched in April 2013.
In the new design the Atlas Copco logotype will be clearly visible on the products together with the Dynapac name. The color scheme will change to yellow and grey, which is already used for construction tools, portable compressors and generators.
The ambition is to form a strong uniform identity towards construction customers in all parts of the world.
The addition of the Atlas Copco logotype on the Dynapac equipment is not only beneficial for the Construction Technique business area. In fact, the Atlas Copco Group will immediately benefit from having more brand carriers visible to the public.
The new visual identity will first be showcased at the Bauma international trade fair in Munich in April, 2013.
