GEO-T Expo 2013 is Booming

ESSEN/GERMANY, October 30, 2013 - On November 12-14, Essen will be the world capital of geothermics. Because the international geothermal industry along the entire value added chain from near-surface via medium-depth right up to deep geothermics will congregate at Messe Essen then.

More than 110 companies from around 20 countries will send their representatives to the first GEO-T Expo which is being organised by Messe Essen in cooperation with Lorenz Kommunikation. Exhibitors from El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dubai, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Nicaragua, the Netherlands, Austria, Panama, Poland, Sweden, Spain, Turkey and the USA will take part in the new trade fair.
"On the occasion of the first Geo-T Expo, it has already been possible, on the exhibitor side, to portray the comprehensive value added chain of geothermics in a nearly complete form," says Klaus Reich, Divisional Manager of Messe Essen. "The international visitors' interest in the fair premiere is correspondingly great. Particular emphasis should be placed on the high-ranking delegations which we have the pleasure of expecting from Turkey, from the Netherlands and Flanders as well as from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama." More than 1,000 specialists from over 25 nations are expected as visitors.

600 geothermal experts from the scientific and economic fields are also expected on the occasion of the Geothermal Congress DGK 2013 which is being organised by Bundesverband Geothermie (GtV - "Federal Geothermal Association") and will have a high ranking cast. Topical specialist subjects will be discussed parallel to the GEO-T Expo. In addition, international subjects will be on the agenda. Practical examples will supplement the interesting lecture programme (http://www.der-geothermiekongress.de/programm).
In several informative fair forums on the subjects of the Netherlands and Flanders, Turkey, Central America, facility management as well as the local authority forum entitled "Geothermal Energy Generation in the Regional Market", the visitors will have the possibility of obtaining information about topical specialist subjects in the field of geothermics.
