PALFINGER is already reacting to the anticipated introduction of stricter safety regulations in the skiploader market with its latest patented product development - the PAK 13H - a completely new approach in respect of container security and overturn protection.

The PAK 13H, a “smash hit” among skiploaders, has an extended chain suspension sling and a clamping device. The skips lifted are attached to the skiploader’s lifting arms with the help of this clamping device. This attachment guarantees that the skip load is completely secured on the truck bed. Container slings are no longer necessary. As a result, time-consuming adjustment of the load attachment stops is a thing of the past and the continuous truck bed is easy to clean. A further gratifying side-effect: There is no noise disturbance when travelling as the chains remain under tension.

PAK 13 H fulfills the strict safety regulations according to DIN 30720

The lifting movement tips up the skip attached to the lifting arms to empty it. For this the skiploader needs no tipping hook and also no tilting bearing for the container.

The tipping operation can be carried out in a very controlled manner. It is no longer possible for the skip to overturn. The skip can be emptied with the lifting arms in any telescoped position.

Picking up and setting down of the skip is carried out as with any conventional skiploader.

The PAK 13H with its lifting power of 12 t is suitable for lifting containers in accordance with DIN 30720 with a volume of 5 to 20 m3. The system has already been awarded the “GS” mark by the employer's liability insurance association!
