BKT to build new Carbon Black Production Plant BHUJ/INDIA, August 29, 2017 – Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT), Off-Highway tire manufacturer, will build a new plant for the production of carbon black. This facility will stretch over approximately 8 hectares within the BKT production site at Bhuj, in the Indian state of Gujarat. The production forecast is about 60,000 tons/year. An initial investment of 23 million US dollars has been earmarked. >more
Uponor expands PEX Pipe Manufacturing in the US HUTCHINSON/USA, July 24, 2017 – Uponor North America has announced that the company has signed an agreement to purchase an existing 237,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and office space in Hutchinson, Minnesota. The 6.35 million US dollar investment is located about 70 miles west from its North American headquarters in Apple Valley.
